Long time reader and first time poster.

Went to watch the U23 tonight against Bromley. What a really enjoyable match - had physicality, good speed, good mix of long/short passing, bad refereeing decisions but the same old Chippenham mantra of not sticking the ball in the net seeing them lose 1-0.

The U23 have some really talented boys who can handle themselves. Do they ever train with the first team?  If they do, I am surprised more aren’t involved on a regular basis given our current predicament.

Would recommend going if you can, especially if you have a season ticket as it’s free!
