Re: Hastings

The league position is flattering but we've only played 7 games and towards the end of the season we will be in a relegation battle if things continue the way they currently are. We're not scoring enough goals. Just look at our goal tally and compare that to the teams around us. Do you think Cook can sort it out considering what players he's brought in?

Re: Hastings

Terrible day at the office, horrendous result and a complete wasted opportunity to put it lightly. However, to be calling for the gaffers head in some comments! Jesus! Bit extreme, the fella oversaw a tricky period after Mark, whether we think we would have survived or not, he kept us up. Two disrupted Covid Seasons and a brilliant start to the league campaign this year with us in 4th! That’s madness. We go again Saturday against Welling, here’s hoping we get a good response! We deserve one

Re: Hastings

It’s about winning, it’s the FA cup, we were lacking all over the pitch, it’s Cooks players and they have been found wanting. Embarrassing performance and trying to find positives is very difficult, recent posts have mentioned budgets, wage bills, full time clubs, well today we had the budget the league status, home advantage and overall we came up short, we have bench full of coaches and hangers on who they sit there helpless. Today is not about our league position it’s about being dumped out of the cup by a team two levels below us, no wonder the attendance was so poor, entertaining we are not, I want to be entertained and excited not bored and frustrated.

The last 4 home games have shown that he doesn't seem to know how to change things around when things are not going our way. Everything is fine if we are winning. As somebody else mentioned just seems to be sat on the bench, may as well be sitting in the stand with the supporters.

Cook would not be any good in the stand with the supporters, he has no rapport with the fans. lol

No rapport at all, has distanced himself from those who pay him, at least with Welling coming we will surely see goals.

Re: Hastings

And what probably doesn't help either is that dreary music the players walk out to

Re: Hastings

Yesterday's game:
Majority of players - Pathetic
Attendance - Pathetic
Cook and hangers on - Pathetic

I don't name players who play badly on here but quite frankly there are 3 or 4 who are just not good enough and need replacing. My opinion is based on all games, not just yesterdays. I've watched Mike Cook's after match interview and he blames the players for not doing what they were told. So why does he and his entourage spend 85 minutes of the match sat quietly in the dugout? As for the attendance the figure was only bolstered by plenty of away fans (again.)

A lot needs to change.
