What a load of  rubbish written on this thread- particularly the one from someone who defines as  administrator.  I can appreciate that Twerton Park is past its best but let us be realstic-  HP is an adequate ground but not one where we are in a position to start rubbishing others.
As for COVID  I know someone who is late 20s who is really struggling with its effect so there may be a Bath player who is ( or may become)  quite unwell.  This virus is impacting on a lot of  NLS teams so it could be us next. Claiming they have postponed because they are scared to play us is utter rubbish. If we had beaten them 6-0 on boxing day there might have been some support for that view but it was 1-1 and our keeper was a candidate for M o M.

I've not been to our recent games there but I'd grudgingly say Twerton is our of my favourite grounds even if yes it's not had much work done to it the past 20 years.

I'd also agree that we're not good enough to say any postponement/abandonement is always because the other team is scared to play us!

"If you're a cynic you have to suspect" is not a claim. It's obviously an opinion and as far as "always" goes, where did that come from? Then there's scared. Who said anything about them being scared? I'm looking at it from their poor form point of view and the ever present threat of the season being stopped again. Consider that in that event points per game comes into play. It's not unreasonable to suspect that teams are using Covid to postpone games when their form is poor knowing that come the end of the season not playing could be what saves them from relegation. What is unreasonable is claiming that as a fact which is something I haven't done. Feel free to disagree but don't discount the possibility. Stranger things have happened and it's a funny old game.

The important word in your post there is "may". Don't you think it's a bit strange that they tried to have a pitch inspection 5 hours before kick-off and when the weather turned warmer, which would mean the game would go ahead, the Covid card was played? It could all be above board but I am entitled to air my doubts and you are entitled to disagree. What you're not entitled to do is to say I'm talking utter rubbish when it's obvious that what I am saying is my opinion.

Freedom of speech works both ways - you're entitled to your "opinion" (though I would be wary of accusing a club of 'playing the covid card' myself) and people are perfectly entitled to tell you it's utter rubbish if that's their opinion!

Admin or not, Twerton Park is an absolute shambles of a football ground.

I love it, proper old fashioned ground.

Re: Twerton Park

Agree 100%, old school ground with a great atmosphere inside proper terrace. Imagine the players love playing there. Let’s be fair HP and Hungerford Town are along way down the pecking order in Conference South.

Re: Twerton Park

Well certainly caused some debate. Just been on Bath website to check their recent results.  It seems in December they played 7 games - 4 wins , 2 losses and a draw with us. Admittedly 1 win was against Supermarine but includes an away win at Dorking.  So recent form quite reasonable.
