Re: Boxing Day

Also 1 child if accompanied by a paying adult went free, I have got my ticket on line, but sadly will not be purchasing a ticket for my grand daughter, at £13.50. She is not best pleased.

Re: Boxing Day

Think we need to see this from club’s perspective. If it’s been decided that only 600 plus season ticket holders can attend then that is probably at least half down on what the crowd could be expected to be on a normal day. If children were allowed in free this time, just say that 600 paying was reduced by 200, not good business sense. Plus the way things are going this could be our only fans in attendance match until Easter!

Re: Boxing Day

But those families/seniors that can't afford this one might not go to any future games rest of the season. Yes we're missing out a bumper crowd for this match, but can't imagine many regular games we get more than 600 ticket buying fans.

I’m assuming that the £13.50 has taken in to account that you can’t buy a pint, probably won’t buy a programme, tea, a 50/50 or golden goal etc..

That's an odd reason to try to justify it given children generally don't buy a pint and golden goal ticket

Not at all, given the Adult will normally be paying. And the club have to off set the revenue lost on those I mentioned. If that means I have to pay for my son..so be it.
Think about it 😉
