""If the table is important to you that's fine...""
Come on! Im all for supporting the team but you are saying the drop is acceptable? Thats what were talking about. We dont want it to happen. Perhaps the club - and with every post i'm even more certain that youre associated with them, do.
We are up s**t creek here. Moments of quality play are not enough. The decline is 2 or 3 years in the making look at the Evostick Southern league Archives. The board were supposed to guide the new backer into the boardroom yet have presided over yet another howler. Tell us now. Are you happy with relegation and are all going down together on the Titanic or have you told the manager in no uncertain terms that it's unacceptable?

Hello all , iv not been on here for a while due to visiting my family in NZ for a few weeks and iv missed the last 3 games home and away. I would like to put my 2 pennies worth in as i class myself as a SUPPORTTER who regularly watches my team HOME & AWAY so i think my opnion is worth while. Now i come on here not hiding under a different name like most of you all do and i also tell you all where i sit (next to the tunnel in the stand) so if you have a problem with what i say im man enough to discuss this to your face aslong as you tell me your name.
Im the same as alot of you in the way we have played at times this season. Bideford home, Frome 2nd half and Redditch 2nd half have been unacceptable but as far as i can rememeber they are the bad performances we have played all season (if iv missed any games out then i apolgise) but yes in the last 15 we have lost 7 and drew 8 which isnt good but this is the same set of lads that has also gave us some really exciting football ( Cambridge Home , Gosport away, TOTTON Home, Gosport Home draw, Hemel home 2nd half against top sides) and if these draws were wins (which i know there not) we would be near the top. We have let goals in late in alot of games and again if we didnt we would be near the top.(Lets hope its a learning curve for next season) This is the same as last season when the 2nd half of the season we couldnt win a game and maybe this is something we all need to help our club with as its a bit strange its happening two years on the trot. I will stick my neck out here and say again this is a young manager in his first season who has gone through alot of players to try and find what he wants to build for the future and to change management in under a year is unbeliavble for me as what chance has he had after last season debacle. Everytime this season we have lost people come on here asking for a change and i dont believe are our true supportters of the club and if we look at the league table we have the same points as Frome and Redditch and more than Bedworth and Hitchin so il say it again rather than hide under names and moan about it lets get behind the CLUB and SUPPORT the boys to 3 points as i think 7 points is enough to stay up and if we can get positivity around the ground like i heard we had against Barwell who were in the top 3 you never know we might finish half way.!!!
Anyway i cant make Cambridge tomorrow but i hope we come back with at least a draw but il be back Saturday cheering my team on and having a pint and packet of peanuts with Pete !!!
Good to read that Lewis might be returning now there is a good signing who will help us score goals
Come on lets get behind OUR club for christ sake. See you Saturday

So if you'd won all the games you'd drawn, and not let any goals in you would be near the top?
That's where Frome have been going wrong as well I reckon!

Well done. Now whatever you do - don't slag anyone off!
I'd be suprised if anyone on here no longer attends the games, I'd be suprised if anyone on here wouldn't want things to change for our young manager and the players. The reality is that things have gone badly this season, I cant 'chip' too much in on the performances as I've managed one game... But as stated we are looking at relegation if this continues. If that doesn't animate people then nothing will. From what I see Rudgy has got off lightly. Perrin used to have his substitutions booed by 500 people and got the chop for less.

If the table is important to you that's fine, and therefore I understand your annoyance jezzer. For me it will always be the quality and style of the football, for example I walked away from the second half of the game against Hemel feeling proud of those lads, as after a terrible first half they went on to dominate in the second. I felt they couldn't have given more, and although we lost I was entertained and felt they gave it a good go. That's not to say that the terrible first half shouldn't be assessed, the point I am arguing here is that we have had spells of quality play
The quality and style of the football we've played this season has in thr majority been poor, aimless, frustrating and not making the best use of the players available to us. We all felt proud of the performance against Hemel but again 3 points eluded us, most of us were asking why we can't play like that all the time and that's the managers responsibility to sort out and resolve.
As posted by others the league table is all matters at this stage of the season do you want CTFC to be one of those teams "too good to go down" yet do? You must realise that the higher standard of football the better the quality and style of football so yes, the higher you are in the pyrmaid the better.
Look forward to any match reports you're able to provide but please be honest with them. If we're *** and it has been known, please tell us, not that it was another hard working performance and we didn't get what we deserve, heard that too much.
On another subject, Rudge did blame the players and as he's signed them or played with them last season surely he must have known there were problems so why did he sign them/keep them?

You seem to be rather well informed beatbox.... As for the ten pounds for the coach like most no one knew about it apart from the click no doubt. Another fine example of communication at its finest
Ah yes I belive you have hit the nail on the head - very well informed and been suporting the club for 7 seasons by all accounts! It seemed odd when Beatbox suddenly appeared on this forum - most of the others harked back to the old beak days but there was something new and precise about him. I suspect he is a board member and if so welcome because we need you on here rather than hiding away.
So will you now either confirm this or prove me wrong. i don't mind being wrong after all I have had years of practice.

fair enough - i am sure that we all share your desire to see the club move forward. it has been suggested that many who post on here are "petulant" but in tuth I believe that utmost restraint is being shown certainly compared with what used to go and indeed what happens on other forums. We are frustrated - most have many years of loyal following of CTFC and we have all seen good and bad times in the past. This unfortunately is a particulary bad time and it is not helped by a lack of communication from OUR club. team details were available on Saturday because Sandie Webb did match reports on BBC wiltshire so someone could have posted the team up on the official site.

Footballwebpages asked for volunteers to text teams and scores as they happen nobody volunteered from Chippenham. Perhaps someone who goes could do this on regular basis
