Chippenham Town v Barwell

This will be a really tough game Barwell are a very tough no nonsense side, the game at there place turned into a bit of a battle with one of there guys sent off,and a push and shove hand bags session in the tunel after the game. Adie stay calm mate, really glad to see you back today. Good luck to the young keep Dave Richards hell need to have a good one ( Ben get fit soon ) Were looking forward to seeing the young winger Joe Mc Clennam who came on at Bashley and looked quick and strong and Lee phillips getting games and now fully firing up front. Like beat Beatbox85 says let's get behind our team today. Good luck to Nath,Rich and the boys. Cum on you blues.

Re: Chippenham Town v Barwell

Decent point today and should have been 3. One attempt on target? The last i heard though was Redditch and Frome were drawing too.

Re: Chippenham Town v Barwell

Credit where credit's due today - a strong all round performance against a big physical side, and but for an absolute wonder save by their keeper near the end it would have been 3 points.  The loanee keeper looks assured with some great handling, the left back from Exeter had a good game and the new winger caused them all sorts of problems.  Shame we conceded so soon after going ahead but at least there's some light at the end of the tunnel.

Re: Chippenham Town v Barwell

No. Late goal from Redditch sees them win 2-1. Hitchin lose too. Frome 1 point off the drop and thier lack of goals might be catching up with them. We're 4 points off the drop.

Re: Chippenham Town v Barwell

A better performance toady, new players had good performances
I was disappointed with the management team and players on bench at one point. The new lad playing number 3 today, sorry cannot remember his name, took a knock and was struggling for a few minutes. None of the bench picked up on his knock and consequently no one was warming up just in case he needed replacing.
The bench has got to keep an eye on what is going on

Re: Chippenham Town v Barwell

The players looked much sharper today. The will and desire to win was there for all to see. In contrast to recent weeks, I left feeling as though I'd got my monies worth.

Re: Chippenham Town v Barwell

That was a much better performance, although the chances were rare it was a a performance by players that were worthy of the shirt emblazoned with Pride and Passion, they dug in and so nearly got the three points we are all after. The new winger impressed with some tricky runs and his long throw also brings something else to the Arsenal. Great save by their keeper at the end from a attempt that I though might be goal of the season. Thank god Tindle was at the back as Barwell had a couple of one on ones that could have cost us. Harris had an off day with some stray passes but the draw was well deserved. Also hope that Rudgey, Fey or whoever spoke to the press says a thank you to us fans today who got behind the team and tried to be the 12th man.
