    Will Richards

    Will Richards will be leaving the club and moving to Australia on the 27th December, He will be on secondment and leaves with a heavy heart however is very much looking forward to experience.

    Will who informed the manager a couple of weeks ago has played over 150 games and was a integral part of the championship winning squad, we of course all wish Will and his family a very Merry Christmas. Mark Collier said “ Will Richards has been absolutely fantastic for me, was a major signing at the time and has proved over many games that as a defender he is amongst the very best around as well as always having a goal in him, he is great lad to have around is truly respected and will be sorely missed as a player and as a man” “I personally thank him for his professionalism, attitude and manner and wish him every success in the future “

    Good luck Will, you were the best and will be missed. Probably the best centre back at this level of football.

    What a player, best defender I have seen play for the Bluebirds and also a really nice guy.  All the best Will.

    Not sure if you read the forum Will but you have been a great servant of the club and have been a huge part of the most successful period in the club's history. All the best for life in Oz  and I really hope we get to see you back in the blue shirt one day.

    In my opinion the best defender we have had in recent years, and we've had some good ones. All the best Will.

    Massive loss to the club - our best and most consistent player for many seasons

    With two arm breaks this season though may be a blessing in disguise for him and the club

    Big boots to fill for someone
