Slough at home

On paper a very tough game, but that's when we usually play our best. We usually have really good close games with Slough, I don't see why this one should be any different. I'm going for a 2-2 draw (same as Reginald on another thread) with attendance 633.

Re: Slough at home

I can sum that performance up in one word - disgraceful. Many more like that and we will only be going one way, the Southern League. Why was Whelan taken off, the only player likely to get us back into the game, I do wonder about some of the decisions made by the management team on the bench at times.

Re: Slough at home

That was a truly woeful performance this afternoon. The fa cup run has papered over the cracks, we are at times a poor team and are in danger of slipping down the league

Re: Slough at home

Thanks for the warning! I am happy for people to disagree or agree, that’s not a problem
Our performances have been poor recently, we struggled to beat Cirencester and were lucky to beat slough in the replay. Far to many draws in the league.
Team selection and substitutions at times leave me baffled
The blue tinted spectacle wearers will disagree with me I sure, but we need to be aware that our form is slipping and we looking over our shoulders towards the bottom of the league

Re: Slough at home

Sad to say I agree with most of what has been posted. Worst performance of the season I would say. Never looked like creating much let alone scoring. We must always be careful about criticising team selection/substitutions when we don't have the insight that the management team have, but things do seem a bit odd sometimes. Next few weeks should shape our season...…..

Hopper started say no more. Why we even signed him is beyond me.

Re: Slough at home

Some big scores in Conference South yesterday, it’s a mad crazy league. I will be at Dulwich next week as visiting family so not on the coach, well done Simon and crew drumming up away support, i was told that some supporters travel on team coach, surely why not fill the supporters coach as I understand Simon was a few short. Thoughts ?
