Call to Arms

What an incredible run of form we have been on lately, you have to go all the way back to September 3rd to find our last loss, that 1-0 defeat away at Dorking and since then, wow! We have already had enough FA Cup excitement to last us a season, 2 wins and 2 draws in the league, those draws coming against seriously strong opponents in Chelmsford and Dulwich, certainly in the former we may well have done enough to win the game.

Players are coming back thick and fast with Pratt and Tyler both coming back to fitness, Tom Whelan signed to strengthen that midfield three, and big Will Richards due his doctors appointment I believe tomorrow, Chippenham lie 11th in the league a mere 5 points off the playoff spots and this side standing on the cusp of becoming only the 3rd Chippenham side to make it to the FA Cup 1st Round Proper.

None of this would be possible without our incredible board and management team that have poured their heart and soul into everything so far this season and they have asked for a monumental effort from Chippenham as fans to make tracks to Whyteleaf and roar them over the line and onto hopefully a massive tie for us at the next stage. This is how we used to do it people, coach loads of people, ticker tape reception, big vocal support from 1-90 minutes and is I am sure going to play pivotal in a tie where the 12th man might well be very important.

Think the coach is almost full now and Gary and Kirsty will be selling the CTFC Merch on the bus no doubt, I don't know about you guys but this week cannot go quick enough, just buzzing to get to Whyteleaf on Saturday now and get the job done. All well and good in 7 days time we will be preparing for that draw, waiting to see Chippenham take on the likes of Portsmouth, Sunderland, Coventry, Blackpool and many other recent Premier League teams that have slipped down the league but certainly not in terms of club stature, this is the dream people, come and help make it a reality.
