All this talk of international football with Tyrone making his England debut leads me to mention another international superstar from Chippenham Town, current striker Nat Jarvis.
I received word from Nat that his mission of "grab a goal for us" on International break was completed last night as his left foot strike was not enough to stop Guyana running out 5-1 winners against Antigua & Barbuda. Despite the fact the internet has seen fit to credit the goal to the man who provided the assist a D'Andre Jordan, this is currently being disputed rather loudly (Mostly by Jarv) and should be rectified in due course.
A huge well done to Nat from all at Chippenham Town not just for his goal but his commitment in delaying his flight to ensure he could help us reach the 4th Qualifying Round vs Slough and his incredible "Ironman" like fitness to ensure he has stayed fit and injury free upon his return to help push Chippenham into the 1st Round Proper on Saturday!
Safe flight back Nat and we look forward to seeing you hopefully make it 3 goals from 3 matches against Whyteleaf (or more if you fancy it)
