Brilliant result, but before everyone thinks we're already in the 1st round let's remember Whyteleafe are the same level as Cirencester

What a great result but wise words from the previous poster.
In complacency lies defeat - did a little of that infect Slough perhaps?
Anyway well done to all the team, Mark and Gary and all those that made the trip. I needed that news

Well done to Team and all concerned. Away in Guatemala but keeping in touch. Must not under estimate the next round opposition. Remember Slimbridge, Paulton and Ashford Middlesex.

How about instead of remembering Slimbridge, Paulton. Let’s remember the times we took our opportunities. Let’s remember Basingstoke away? Let’s remember countless FA Vase games, tricky away ties in Southern League where normally we would struggle but we came away with big results, there are too many to name. Complacency is not as issue here, and the fact so many highlight it won’t fuel any fires. Whyteleaf are a good side, those in the know at this level will see a lot of young, hungry ex pros that didn’t quite make it and they are always the most determined to rise. They are in their cup final here, treat it as ours and you’d hope quality will prevail but dwelling on previous slips won’t help us do so, they’ve earned our belief after the two games against Slough come on let’s give it to them!!
