Casey Gone

Re: Casey Gone

But two defenders from Exeter in, wonder if unlike our usual loan players they might actually get a game...

Still think we'll stay up, if only because there are teams worse than us, worried about the G&H article where the board are backing the present management team, got a horrible feeling Rudge will be in charge next season, even if we do have a "Screwfix mentality" or is that where we'll end up under his "leadership"?

Re: Casey Gone

So sorry to see Casey leave always gave 100%d appears to have been made the fall guy for rudges lack of man management. I hope that the board are backing the right horse but I fear it could turn out to be a donkey. Saturdays game now takes on a huge significance.

Re: Casey Gone

Steve Casey has been one of the mainstays for the past few years, there must be a huge rift in the dressing room. I had great hopes for Rudge and Fey at start of season, but it did not work out and there are only a few games left to pull it out of the fire.  In all Rudgies articles in the papers and radio interviews, they are all negative and blame the supporters for not backing the players and club. If we played decent football and had a bit more communication the supporters would be behind the team.

All the best Casey for the rest of the season.

Re: Casey Gone

Inthebox how dare you criticise communication, next you will be saying that there is nothing on the Chippenham Website about Casey leaving and the 2 lads from Exeter arriving on loan.....oh hang on there isnt. Surely it would be nice to see a statement from club thanking Casey for all his hard work and effort after 5 seasons with us.

Re: Casey Gone

Terriffic  -just the news we needed! I doubt that Steve ventures on here but if he does i would like to thank him for all his efforts and wish him all the best for the future - he never let us down and I don't think he has now.For the majority of this season he has been by far our best player - yes his his form has dipped a little in recent games but this is likely to be as a result of the situation that has led to him leaving the club.

Re: Casey Gone

Oh dear oh dear so Casey is this weeks departure. Wonder who it will be next week? Like other postings I would like to thank Steve for all his efforts and he will be missed ( at least by the fans if not the management). Not a flash player but always dependable
As to the two loan players are they youth players or what? Oh silly me that would mean actually communicating with the fans. Also wonder if they would be selected ahead of this young lad from Cheltenham. With the recent departures will be interesting to see what team is put out. I wouldn't be surprised if next time we get those young kids at a game kicking around at half time one or two of them appear on the bench!!
Interesting to read Rudge's article in the Gazette. "Something is amiss".....There's a problem there". No kidding we would never have guessed. But where is the problem and who is going to identify it???? Games are fast running out.

But where is the problem and who is going to identify it????

Over the hill, highly paid players who don't have the club at heart?  Just a hunch.
