Calling all supporters that can spare some time to help in the cleaning of the ground in readiness for the start of the season, the pitch is looking very good but other area’s need some work; Stand seating area’s cleaning, all perimeter walkways cleaning to allow yellow lines to be painted and many other things to do.
If you can provide a few hours to help or more if you can spare the time all will be very much appreciated.
Even if you can only do a hours work, or a days work.
Your help will be greatly appreciated by the football club and any help prior to the start of the 2019/20 campaign will be much needed.
9.30 - 10.00am start for the day.
Make a note in your Diary.
Many thanks
Chippenham Town Football Club

BlackpoolBluebird - I'm actually on holiday all next week, with the intention of doing as much weeding/tidying as possible at Hardenhuish Park - this is an annual chore for me in the close season ! If anyone wants to join me next week to lend a hand, that would be much appreciated - there is plenty to do !

It's times like this I wish I didn't live so bloody far away. Good luck to all involved and hopefully the place is looking sparkling for our opening fixture. As I cannot make it I pledge to put as much money as possible into the bar over the coming season to make up for it ;)

Very good it was too, so good in fact I even created an account on here to post about it! I was surprised at the turnout and we got a lot done in a few hours on a Sunday morning all for the common good. As I said to Tony it would be no problem to make it a regular Sunday morning event throughout the season if the club feel it is necessary I would certainly make the effort to be there if available.

Welcome to the forum Nick.
I'm ashamed to say that the last time I helped clean up the ground was the morning after we'd beaten Vauxhall in the F.A Vase semi-final in 2000. I hadn't planned to, but responded after hearing Sandie's appeal on the local radio.
