I'm a web developer by trade. I'd be happy to take over/ host a brand new forum/website going forward if people are/were to use it.

Firstly a big thank you to Admin for all the hard work you have put into the Forum over the years.   It would be a massive shame to loose our Forum. And I feel a real step backwards for our great club. A lot of the stuff  on here, People won’t get anywhere else. And any individual can have there say, weather people are happy or unhappy with what’s going on. On and off the pitch.   It is great news that Blackpool Bluebird has come forward to take over the forum. And hopefully Blackpool And Admin can get there heads together to keep the Forum rolling on.  It would be nice if more could come officially from the Chairman,Manager,and board. Probably through a third party.  Especially official team news, prematch and news on injured players, even progress on injuries.  Especially with the season we’ve had with injuries.  People do seem to be in the dark, more than they should be. Good luck to Blackpool. Hopefully you can keep it running and even improve things in time for next season. Good luck Mate.  😎

Agree with everything previously posted, particularly the points about information exchange. The forum is usually streets ahead of the website. Unfortunately you will always get the occasional idiot on a forum, but they are a good vehicle for free speech whether you agree with what someone else posts or not. I remember the debate on here about chanting, which although got heated at times, was excellent. I hope the forum continues, in whatever format.
