Re: Torquay @ Home

Pitch looked very good visually but was very bobbly and made the ball difficult to control. Same for both sides though...

As for the beer - I assume this was advertised up front that they would not get access to the bar (although those from Torquay in the seated section were allowed in)

Sour grapes... in fairness they played better than we did at the home game we had after we had won the league 2 years ago. Similar game in many respects, but we wanted it more and deserved the 3 points.
I thought Rutty was a revelation, but agree Evans was the MoTM for me.

Re: Torquay @ Home

As a good friend commented when discussing the pitch “they made us play on a bowling green at their place, but we had to adjust and beat them”.

Re: Torquay @ Home

Great game and fully deserved win. Outfought them in every department.
But I thought it was a sell out? Does our ground not hold 2500?
Loads of space left in front of the club shop. Strange as I know people who tried to get tickets at the last minute but couldn’t as they were sold out.

Re: Torquay @ Home

It may be Mickey Mouse but Torquay need to remember it was they who bought the T-Shirt and a 12 month pass.

Want a bare knuckle fight? I'll knock you out you Cnut.
