Proud to be a Bluebird. They were magnificent today, fought for everything, all of them heros. M.O.M. for me would be Tind's apart from that silly booking.
Will be interesting to see how many of those extra fans that attended today will be impressed enough to come again. Echo what the Voice said really well organised and the Chairman and Manager should be proud of all those who helped put on a great afternoons entertainment.

Just got home! Still buzzing. Evans man of the match followed closely by Tindle, Parselle and Rutty. What a day, a double over the champions. Let's bring a good support on Monday, the players deserve it.

Great day, great support, great result. 3 at the back and Evans were different class. Dean Evans mom for me, ran himself silly all game

Great day, great performance well done Neil and board of directors. Team outstanding if only we hadn't had so many injuries we would have been play off bound. Proud to be Bluebird.

No throat, totally worth it. For tonight as least... the Voice is happy to be able to type. I love each and every one of you buggers that bleed blue

Take a look at the Torquay fans forum page 3 , it's the 11th post on the page.

Great performance, and great atmosphere. Rutty played well again but MOM Dean Evans. Two well taken goals from Deano and Nick McCcootie. If only we played like that over the last month.

Interesting afternoon, very enjoyable with a great result! We scrapped for absolutely everything and obviously wanted it more than them. The defence were heroic, with Richards and McDonald to add to the mix we have an embarrassment of riches at the back. We keep up our record of doing well against the better teams....can we be more consistent next year?
I note that the Torquay website has issued a statement about the behaviour of some of their 'fans'. Having been in town at lunchtime (lots of Torquay fans drinking, some heavily) and again after the game I noticed a very strong police presence, and I have to say that overall the club organised this fixture extremely well.

Some Torquay fans were non-too-happy with their experience yesterday! Quite a number were quite critical of the pitch. Justified or not? For example:
Awful ground, could hardly see a thing first half standing on the side as it was just hard flat standing. Pitch shocking, no social club or bar to speak of, couldn’t get a beer. Mickey mouse football. Players way off the pace( understandably) wondered why I bothered half way through. Hope we never have to go back there.

They need to remember that they play on what was a football league pitch. They should realise if they hadn't been so poor the last couple of seasons they wouldn't have had to come to little old Chippenham. Anyway sour grapes or what, maybe they are allowed to set off flares in Torquay pubs, that sort of behaviour is way out of order.
