I feel after a couple of days thinking over some of the remarks posted on here and finally seeing the last post ,it is time for the Last post . this website is not doing our Club any favours and I think it should be closed down . this sort of site has had its day. I do find it difficult to understand how Season ticket holders and loyal fans do not know when our next game is !! . , there are many avenues other than this to find out our fixtures and those of our Park and under18s . just my passionate thoughts !!! thank you, see you in the Bar on Saturday

As a loyal fan I am finding this loyality stretched to almost breaking point at the moment.
The football we are seeing at the moment is poor; team discipline including the managers is shocking.
Communication from the club is poor
The official website has slagged of the fans and then to cap it all an employee of the club condemns the fans for voicing their opinion..!
If you don’t like what you read then don’t bother looking
Please keep this forum open so fans can voice their opinions. . On the whole the opinions voiced here represent what the fans are feeling and it’s the only true voice of the fans..!

I quite agree with people voicing their opinions but when it gets personal that is unexceptable ,and helps our Club in no way whatsoever.
when you say" Communication is poor" what do you need to know ? I will pass your comments on .

I hope you appreciate the irony of your reply. If the website was to close as you suggest then this debate could not take place..!
As for communication being poor, I am sure you and the person who runs the club site have read previous postings, so I will not go over those points again.
I agree, when it gets personnel then it’s unacceptable. But as always the very small minority can spoil things for the majority
I am hoping for a positive message from the club and its officials, something along the lines of ‘we have listened to the fans and take on board the comments and we will work hard to improve things’ but that would be as rare as a home win..!
As I said previously my loyalty is being stretched almost to breaking point at the moment

Hi Pete as you have seen i have been critical of the club re the communication it has with the supporters and i feel i had valid reasons for doing so. In an endeavor to be totally transparent and fair I also made my feelings known on the official web site. yes I criticised the club but what i did not do and will not do is criticise any individual. We both know that this has occurred in some posts and I feel that it is wrong for these matters to become personal.
I believe that I am a loyal and staunch supporter of CTFC but I can only repeat that as an organisation the club has yet to get it's act together in communicating with the fans. i have just checked the official website and there is no mention of Bally signing for Frome but the suggestion on here is that he has - OK mabe idle speculation - no doubt we will all know by tomorrow. Get the Thatchers ready!

It seems with my previous post I may have opened up the can of worms regarding communication. As with Bluebirds2006 no criticism was aimed at any individual, I was simply stating facts as to communciation or lack of it between fans and the club. Unfortunately Bluebirds previous posting just highlights the point some of us are trying to make ie
"I have just checked the official website and there is no mention of Bally signing for Frome but the suggestion on here is that he has - OK mabe idle speculation - no doubt we will all know by tomorrow. Get the Thatchers ready!
So has Ballinger left or not? If he has not left then there is nothing to put on the website but if you get to the ground tomorrow and find he has left then if the club have not communicated that fact that is wholly unsatisfactory. It's a bit bad that you don't know whether a player has left the club until you turn up at the ground. However,if it is true then it would be interesting to know how the person who confirms it is true knows and is happy to seemingly unofficially pass that information on without any announcement from the club.

Its true, the following is from the official Frome Site:-
Frome Town are delighted to confirm they have completed the return signing of Luke Ballinger from Chippenham Town. The current England Futsal captain and all time leading appearance maker and goalscorer for his country made a summer move to the Bluebirds but has decided to return home to the AlderSmith Stadium with manager Darren Perrin delighted at his capture: “We didn’t want to loose Luke in the summer but we understood his reasons for wanting a new challenge at the time and are obviously very pleased that he wanted to come back to us as we face a tough run in for the remainder of the season and still challenging for two cups as well. It’s just another boost for the Club with all the other current fantastic developments off the pitch that’s happening at the moment”. Ballinger said of his return: “It’s great to be back and you can tell how much the Club has moved on off the pitch since last summer and hopefully I can help both on and off the pitch because I really believe that Frome Town has a very bright future. I can’t wait to get back with the boys and hopefully get that team spirit and atmosphere back, I just can’t wait to get started”.

Oh dear,it goes from bad to worse, yes i checked on the Frome site as there was no info on the Chippenham one but that was no surprise.I can only hope that some one is about to get a grip on what appears to be a situation fast spiraling out of control especially if you read between the lines of Ballys statement I will be at the game tomorrow and hope for three points but I would prefer to hear of steps being taken to sort things out on a longer term basis.

If you can't keep an official site updated then why bother? Or at least give someone else a go

'commmunication is poor' what do you need to know? ..........How about why Bally left, or Mani, ?or given the comment elsewhere on this site, Brendan and what is the position regarding injured players, or if and why training is taking place at Bristol/Keynsham.
See you later
