That was a truly woeful performance today.
Is it time for a change in management?

Dear me, there are some people with very short memories on here!

Couldn't go yesterday and doesn't sound like I missed much. In truth we've lost our way in a part of the season where we normally do well. But the players know we won't be relegated and we won't be in the playoffs so motivation is lacking. Securing midtable in our second season in this league is no mean feat. Asking for a change in management now is a bit silly to say the least.
That said they do need to put on a show for the fans on Good Friday - this is our cup final. I don't mind if we lose to Torquay (even badly) but play well, competing and not capitulating. If we fold up like we did against Bath, then the critics can voice these concerns more justifiably.
Let us dream for a minute that we take 6 points off them in this season with the biggest gate. That would restore the smiles

Last week we were on the beach, this time we had the deck chairs out. Against a big physical team we kept McCootie on the bench until the last 15 minutes, then we he came on a different game, he should have come on at half time. Thought Tindall was lucky to stay on the pitch when their player was red carded, Tinds was already on a yellow. A big improvement needed, very poor football being played at the moment.

Did anyone see Shaun Dyche on MOTD talking about Burnley's win over Bournemouth? He was asked if now that Burnley had secured prem football, if they would be less committed? He said with no hesitation 'no that would not be fair to the other team'. Hmmm..
Reminds me of when Chippenham played St.Neots in the SPL. It was no contest and Chippenham had ice boxes full of beer on the touch line!

I feel sorry for the the back 3 yesterday who stood up admirably to the big physical challenge, in particular tins and young harry rutty. Considering one has not played at this level since August I believe and the other just 18 years of age they were in my opinion head and shoulders above the rest undone by a contentious penalty decision and an unfortunate spill by Brad which resulted in a tap in.if the rest of the team showed the same levels of āpride and passionā that they did and Iād include dean Evans in that then we wouldnt be in the run of form we currently are. Too many go missing at the minute. Definite red card, leant his head in to tins, not sure why you thought he was lucky to stay on inthebox? Did nothing wrong and that seemed to give us some hope but unfortunately fell short. Look forward to Dartford next week and trying to derail there playoff hopes.

Agree Bluebirds15 Harry's inclusion was a brave one against such a big team,he looked the part for sure alongside Mr Chippenham and my player of the year Parselle. Smile Evans always perform, what now for Yan I wonder. Where was Puddy?

I stated on here several months ago that I thought we were a solid mid-table side and I have seen nothing since to change that view. Being critical we don't seem to have any individual players who can put on a performance that changes a game when needed, and we don't score goals from midfield(massive problem recently with the forwards misfiring). Being positive lets not lose sight of the fact that this is a big league and most other clubs have a bigger budget so we have done well to consolidate this year.
Going forward we need to attract bigger crowds (not sure why we don't) and hopefully get some good signings during the summer, even if they are on loan. Whatever happens I will continue to enjoy supporting the club.
