Hemel.

Some of the best football for a long time, finishing let us down, Oassi Mcootie and Evans very very good. Heard that Tindle and Klowkoski in training but McDonald couple of weeks away.

Re: Hemel.

Agree, thought we played some good stuff.  More than enough chances to win but every point is a good one in this league.  I did think we were vulnerable to counter attacks, especially down the left side in the second half, but we got away with it.

Re: Hemel.

We played some good football on a poor pitch. Surprised no subs were made. We should have won easily, quite a few missed chances, but overall at least we got a point.

Re: Hemel.

How did we not win that? We played some wonderful football but got to agree that poor finishing let us down in the end, anyway a points a point. Lets look forward and see if we can beat our bogey side Hungerford ( can't remember the last time we beat them) and they hit 5 on Saturday. If we play like yesterday and improve the finishing we should be too good for them.

Re: Hemel.

2 points dropped for sure, mistake by Smile cost their goal which he was clearly beating himself up for even as he left the pitch, but he was one of our best players. I'm not sure I've ever watched a game where every single player in our team bested their opposite number throughout the game. A few sloppy passes and lapses in communication, but really Hemel did not deserve a point.

Also good to see that we picked up no yellow cards whereas they got 4 or 5 I think.

Re: Hemel.

On National South, it advises Deano got a yellow, I did not see any of our players get a yellow and 4 of their team did. Also Nat South advises a ridiculous gate about 300 more than the actual gate. Cannot rely on any stats from the official Nat South forum.

Re: Hemel.

Just read Non League paper, " Steals a point" are they serious?

Re: Hemel.

I agree, the whole team played well, some of the best football I have seen at HP this season. Rather ironic that our two top scorers both missed obvious chances. Some refereeing decisions were a bit strange, I do think Dean Evans was booked, but was one of theirs booked twice? Maybe I need to go back to Specsavers
Looking forward to Hungerford, we can't lose again to them...……..can we?

Re: Hemel.

Can confirm Evans got a yellow for a tactical foul - the ref gave him one after the advantage was given, it was quite a long advantage. Should have had the game wrapped up by HT. They were poor.
