Very sorry to hear this. In my view I thought Beeds was a tremendous club man, and always gave his all when in the team, or called upon when on the bench. I'm surprised he's gone to Salisbury though, as they seem to have a pretty strong squad, and I would not fancy that drive over the Plain for training twice a week ! I also notice that Gareth Mullins, who was with us last season, is a bench warmer for Salisbury.

John has been a credit to the club with loyalty. This level is a bit above him but there have been times when I would have chosen him to play and asToyboy has said you can't doubt his commitment. Hope he does well at Salisbury.

agree that Beeden has been a patient and loyal squad member though a fringe participant and he must be frustrated to see other players brought in to cover pitch positions that he is suited to. He left before (to Supermarine?) and then came back so maybe we will see him again, although as I recall there was some job related availability problems too?
Anyway good luck to him and hope he does well (but not enough that one day he faces us in opposition and makes us pay for letting him go!)

Not dual-registered then?
Given the nature of Jon’s business (he’s got a pub in Wanborough) he’s not always available for us, so it’ll probably be a similar scenario at Salisbury, although when he IS available he’s likely to get a game down there, as opposed to sitting on the bench for us I guess?

It is infact on dual registration with Salisbury. 2 park players have also signed NLS forms with us.
