As you're in the know how many minutes has Yan played since his arrival and how much a minute does that work out at . Must cost the club nearly as much per minute as Mings has cost Bournemouth.

Your original post was that the club signed Klukowski when injured, are you prepared to help pay him up ?

Re: Billericay

Well we had a collection for Sandell and next week we hear he's gone so maybe we could do the same for Yan ? Another question I can't remember seeing the game when he got injured so could anyone enlighten me?

Re: Billericay

Was reported back in early August that Yan had a soleus injury, so may well have left Torquay in July 18 and signed on with us unfit but expected to recover. Of course I don't know at all if that's the same problem that keeps him in the stands now

Re: Billericay

I believe Jan was fully fit when he signed for us.  He was doing extra training (road running I think, though stand to be corrected) when he picked up the injury.  He played in the Chippenham XI game v The Army and looked like a Rolls Royce that night, he looked supremely fit to me.  The following week he played at Salisbury and pulled a hamstring.
As for the Sandell bucket collection I wouldn’t think the amount raised amounted to a weeks wages in all honesty.

Re: Billericay

Look 16 games to go! How many more game do we need to win to be safe - 6/7? Great position
to be in I'd say? No need to bring in player/break the bank! These players are clearly good enough. Also hopefully injured players will come back in.

Re: Billericay

Putting Yan's case to one side for a moment, isn't this the way of the world. Clubs release players who are carrying an injury or have a poor discipline record. Looking to snap up a bargain, other clubs come in for them taking a gamble on their full recovery or improved conduct. Sometimes the gamble pays off and sometimes it doesn't.

Re: Billericay

Excactly DB, although frustrating that’s football. Same has happened at Bath this season.
Tan has every right to see out his contract.
We are in the big boys league now we’re players have contracts and management agents.

Re: Billericay

From a management sacking point of view, surely that must be a unique record that a management team has been sacked after being beaten home and away by the same team (CTFC) in the same season !! I was made aware of this situation by a supplier of mine from work yesterday, who is well connected with Billericay. Apparently the club are in total chaos at the moment, and he is still owed money from construction work he carried out when the previous owner totally refurbished the ground 18 months ago. Lessons learnt here I feel for clubs trying to climb the football pyramid too quickly, with no solid future plans. This is why I admire our Chairman's policy of steady growth and progreesion.
