Re: v HH

9 goals conceded, 6 points dropped in 4 days.   not good enough...

Re: v HH

Worst possible start but we gradually got a foothold on the game and were very unlucky to not get a point at least.  Only a great save at the death, by the keeper clad entirely in pink, prevented us getting some reward.  Can't argue about the effort put in following Saturday's debacle.
Good to see Tindle back who adds a steel to the back four - I don't think I've ever seen a ball punctured in a tackle before  - quality.

Re: v HH

Looked like a different team.As I said in a previous post if the team was looking for support then they had to earn it and last night they did that and more. Couldn't fault the efforts of anyone as all played their hearts out and that together with some semblance that they looked like a team rather than 11 individuals made all the difference. Only complaint about last night was a very very weak referee. All through the second half when we were dominating the game the time wasting tactics of Hemel were unbelievable. I don't suppose you can blame them when a weak referee lets them do it and not once did I see him tell them to get on with it let alone book a player for time wasting. Whilst he added on about 9 minutes still didn't take away from the fact that their time wasting simply broke our momentum.

Re: v HH

So a 2-1 loss is now received like a win by some. Worrying times

Re: v HH

Maybe Cooky - but if you had been at our last two home games (and I know you havent ;-) then you'd be thinking along the same lines.  Onwards and upwards.

Re: v HH

Hemel are second in the table and we showed some bottle by not rolling over at 2-0 down after 6 miniutes. Every man, woman and child, probably even on the bench would have thought here we go again...

So the line gets drawn and we move onto the next game. Lets face it, our 2 month run has left us with nothing to do but look over our shoulders. - Man City still think a 9 point gap to the title is do-able with no games in hand (it's not), and we're only 8 off the drop with all the teams behind us with games in hand (as previously noted)

You can get big games at the bottom of the table as well as the top, and those big games are coming...

Just a shame I won't see any!
