    Tom Smith released by Swindon Town

    I've just read that midfielder Tom Smith has been released by Swindon Town. Smith was on loan at Bath City last season, and scored 11 goals for them from midfield. Must say I am surprised that the new Swindon manager did not rate him highly enough to give him an extended contract for next season. Just wondered if that is the caliber of player we should be looking at for next season, before anyone else snaps him up. Thoughts anyone ?

    The Bath fans rate him highly and would like him too, but wouldn't be surprised if he gets another league club, FGR for instance?
