V AFC Totton

Well played tonight boys. Thought Adi Harris and Knighton were outstanding!

Re: V AFC Totton

Great performance and result. Couple of nervy moments and a great stop from John early on, but as the game settled down there was only going to be one winner. Some lovely flowing football and good to catch up with a few people again. cheers!

Re: V AFC Totton

Nice bit of belief back in the team and playing together as a team for the first time this season, using both our wingers. Well done all.

No complacency for Saturday against Kettering please!!

Re: V AFC Totton

Well what a great result again. I must admit there wasn't much different to other games apart from we got that first goal and look more a threat with new signing Tom Knighton. Can't fault anyone again as they all played really well and I hope we get 3 points again on Sat as we have some very hard games after that but I bet there saying the same thing.
Well done Nath Rich and the Boys
See you Sat and let's keep up the same atmosphere behind the team as last night

Re: V AFC Totton

Very good performance all round. Could have gone the other way in the first 10 -15 minutes but great goalkeeping by John saved the day. The defence now trust the keeper so will use him and now avoid getting caught in possesion. They are very solid and i thought that our back 4 were outstanding. Kite is really showing what he can do now that he has been given the opportunity and Williams is having his best season for us. Casey and Tyrone are as solid as rocks. With the increase in confidence all round  the players are now willing to try and be creative  - ok sometimes it fails but mostly it worked and Totton were rocked back on their heels for most of the game.
More of this on Saturday and we should be fine  - just worried that Kettering might be a banana skin - also we tend to do better against the better sides

Re: V AFC Totton

Another great result, the lads are on top form! Knighton is a great new addition. We are now only 3 points of the play off positions, no embarrasments on Saturday please lads! Well done to Nath and Rich!
Starting to think we need to make a little more noise behind the goal though...
