Thought I’d post a summary of today’s game.

Classic first pre season game, mix of first team, academy players and trialists. Other than up front with Touray and Parsons, every part of the pitch was mixed with young and old.  3G pitch and red hot.

Touray and Parsons between them missed 5 really easy chances in the first half. As it’s June they get the benefit of the doubt I guess but a couple were really bad misses.

Second half was a similar story but a much more inexperienced front line to explain the misses. Didn’t recognise any of the trialists other than Henry Sady who has been at Melksham. He looked good.  Of all the players who weren’t involved in today’s game, Will King was there so he must be injured?

Of the new players, Ethan Vaughan looked good, Touray was a handful but finishing was poor. Carrol looks a good player too.

Probably should have been a 5-1 victory on chances!!
