A small point to note about tonight's opponents. I was amazed to see in The Ticket Information section that tickets had to be purchased in advance otherwise there was a risk of "selling out" ( on a November Tuesday night against |Us??!!). Looking it up I was equally surprised to see that Truro's average home gate this season in their new stadium is a whopping 1,500... the equivalent of Bath's, This from England's smallest city of not much over 20,000 inhabitants. I assume, because their only "Competition" is Plymouth Argyle they can draw on easily proximate towns like Camborne,Penzance and Falmouth for support. Whatever it is, it's mighty impressive and may have a lot to do with the quality of players they attract and their current 2nd place spot in the League , all underpinned by a Canadian syndicate who appear ambitious for the club. Good on them. It will be hard work tonight. We have the quality, though.......

Also been surprised by what has been going on down there this season. Their manager is John Askey who has managed in the league with Port Vale and for the most part has been Northern based. Obviously he is buying into the project.Bit of money went into them years ago, which got them through a few leagues then dried up.With the new stadium things look sustainable for them. There is also music and fireworks prior to the game which could attract the more casual fan/family, but after years of travelling to other grounds it looks as if the Truro folk have a real community club going on there.

Must have been a decent result last night as no one has commented 😁
Not many teams will go to Truro and come away with a point or three, so that’s a great effort, especially midweek. Well done lads, and any supporters who made the trip. Hats off.

So close to grabbing 3 points which must have felt like a defeat having scored at 87mins, but surely we should be happy with a point
