Re: Moving on

Ps also down right rude collier didn't pick up the phone to Jo mc. Would you come to this club with a manager who acts like that?

Players at this level talk and word gets round

Re: Moving on

No argument in the performances of Joe - The feedback from the opposition support backs that up. As for the second point.... We need a team, not just a player.

Re: Moving on

It was fairly common knowledge that Joe wouldn't be staying I thought?  Anyway, whatever the rights or wrongs of how it happened it makes no difference.   Quite how people can come on here and slag off the management, when all they've done is saved us from the drop by the way, is beyond me.   It's pre-season with a clean slate.  Anyone not on board can clear off to Bridgewater or wherever you're playing now.

Re: Moving on

Ha insideleft barking up the wrong tree mate, I'm in the ridge way having a knee op.

Saved us??? Really

Look at the win ratio under collier and take that forward into this next season and we end up with 44 points

Oh hail the messiah!!!

Lets see how you do first Joseph before we're giving the big one. Everyone knows Weston have cut the budget to scrape by for a couple of years to save up to have a big go in a few years. So I think that makes you a Lidl... Cheap and cheerful. Probably helps there's a Bristol City coach there as well. Also Harley was and is a good player. But he probably sussed out he was going to be 2nd or even 3rd choice this season with the players that have come in. He may have played every game almost as well but again look where Chippenham finished. If he wants to play with his friends I'm sure he will do a great job at Bridgewater or somewhere that level. But its be proven the players that got released haven't been good enough because they couldn't even perform a league lower. Tom Knighton for example.

What did this Stratford guy come to 2 games??
Tom Knighton for example, that a different tom Knighton who came on a against frome and 20 mins later he's scored 3??2nd or 3rd choice this season?thats banter, must be because I can't take that seriously!!jack Allward decent left back gets released after he had his best game against Cambridge?you probably missed that game though.Come back to me when you speak sense you joey

Re: Moving on

As I've said before before you have signed:

Dunton: best right back in south west league who has played at this level before playing almost 200 times for Cirencester at only 20.

Coupe: speaks for itself him and tindal are the 2 best centre halfs in this league.

Roberts: chased by Hungerford Weston Oxford City among others

Remember with Purnell Mcclennan leaving that will also free up money for no doubt more players. And Smith was also going to be signed when these were both still at the club so id assume still money in the coffers so more players to come. Also lets not forget Beaden was outstanding last season at the end so maybe be a good left back? now him coupe, tindall and dunton looks pretty tidy to me.

Re: Moving on

Football is all about opinions but there have been some strange decisions made regarding players in and out

I'm sure the management team know what they're doing?!?!?

In mind they have a lot to prove. I didn't see any improvement in the 30 odd games they were in charge

Re: Moving on

Don't really know why you bother Knappy, always negative, why not go and watch someone else and go on their forum. If things that bad at Chippenham nobody forces you to watch or comment, go elsewhere if it doesn't make you happy. Life is too short to be as miserable as you

Re: Moving on

You didn't? Well we must have been watching different games because I don't remember us getting spanked by 5+ goals by anyone. So you've lost John's (mistakes in him every game and dropped down a league because not good enough) Knighton (not good enough dropped down a league) King (attitude and lazy could see that) Purnell (was clearly going to be a squad player with the signings) Mcclennan (no end product looked to flatter but actually went nowhere and did little. You've obviously lost Dean but as I think everyone would agree he was outstanding but what happened was a freak incident and will obviously be hard to replace.
