I have noticed the ‘Horgan must go’ thread has been deleted
Please can admin or original poster why it has been deleted ?
Thread deleted or not has not changed nmy opinion, as well as others, that we need a change of management. We are rock bottom of league and out of both cup competitions.
Current management team has served us well in the past but a change is desperately needed to reverse standard of performances

Frank you are at risk of being deleted! Anyway everyone I have spoken to thinks Town are already down. Might just as well keep the manager now!

I think sadly it's time. For me this squad should be good enough to stay in this league and is better and has more attacking options than last season. Three months into the season and with only one league win it can't always be bad luck or bad refs. Gary's post match interview last night was a bit more critical and admitting "something has to change" rather than the usual "don't know how we haven't won that" so perhaps Neil has had a word that results need to improve quickly

At risk of being deleted? Sounds like censorship to me

As Iv'e said on another thread.
Posts and threads are rarely deleted, usually for racist/sexist/defamation purposes.
The thread in question was deleted by the original poster, not by admin. If you know me then you know I'm not one for censorship, quite the opposite actually.
But I will also add that Gary is a human being, he's doing his job and whilst you might disagree with some of his decisions , please keep it clean and classy please. I'm not in the business of deleting things as previously mentioned, but anything personal I will review (nothing of note yet so don't worry)

Admin, thanks for clarifying

Halfway more or less through the season.....Nine points adrift from 5th bottom.
Poor goal difference which at this stage in the season is a extra point (s)....deficit.
Even if Bath City are turned over unexpectedly on Boxing day - many doubt it will make much of a difference to the long term situation.
Another defeat today......predictably.
Why is nothing changing?
Why is the silence deafening from the Club/Chairman/board?

In the 30 plus years l have been watching Chippenham it has always been the same when it comes to information/news etc coming out of the club,it is all top secret info and it will never change!
It is so sad seeing everything that is happening at the club now. We have a board that has no interest in trying to save us from relegation and a management team that has no clue what they are doing and have brought in players who are simply not good enough for this level. The team try their best but are not capable of performing at the standard needed.
Supporters are walking away in increasing numbers and you cannot see where the next goal is coming from, let alone the next win. It is so quiet and there is no chat or banter around the ground during games.
Relegation to the Southern League Prem is inevitable but l can see it not stopping there and we end even lower if nothing is done now.
The club is dying around us and l cannot see it ending anytime soon and I fear that the future of this club is at sake if no action is taken soon.

No matter how much we grovel and gripe over the matter, things will not change. Plain and simple, bad business in the summer, leading to players that either don't fit the system, or are individuals within a team. By all accounts, been unlucky most matches but doesn't draw from the fact that lacking that extra detail all across the pitch.
Horgs will not go, if Neil goes, then it's the end of Chippenham Town FC. For seasons, it used to be a community for all fans associated with the club to get together to enjoy being together, catching up, now it's a war of words between each other, taking frustrations out on each other, the players and the club, hence people either stay away or are banned. End the hooliganism, bullying and please just support and get behind the team put out every week.
I don't want to be a keyboard warrior or whatever the term is, as there's plenty but the harassment on social media is enough. The social media by the club is groundhog day. Hyping up the team and match day, result comes, then the abuse kicks in. Please just be grateful we have a football club and an associated community

Those of us that supported the ‘Town’ in the 1960’s and 70’s will remember a time when we were playing in the Wiltshire Combination - the equivalent these days being step 7 level compared to our present step 2 so even relegation to step 3 would have appeared a pipe dream back in those days. I very much appreciate the effort, time and money that has been put in by a variety of people over the years to improve things on and off the pitch. Back in those days there was no bar, no hot food outlets so to me that’s welcome progress. Teams can rarely keep progressing or the Premiership would be full. Ups usually come with downs … look at Trowbridge Town our fierce rivals in the 40’s and 50’s they reached the Conference and are now apparently stuck in County football. Perhaps the biggest regret, if any, is that we missed the chance to buy the ground and given the lack of space there is little scope to improve or expand it, or put in a 4G pitch. But given all that there are plenty of teams below us who would willingly swop places.
