Continued where we left off fagainst WSM. A well-deserved 3 points against a lacklustre Bath City. Very much a mirror-image of our Boxing day clash. We were much more physical, assertive and played our quick passing game. Honours even at half-time...We came out after the break and began to look more and more dangerous, finally capitalising on our greater enterprise with a good goal. Bath didn't have an answer to our quick inter-passing and much more direct, less ponderous play. Collectors's item: playing effectively 4 up front in the latter stages with 3 CBs holding the fort. Worked well. FG and LH outstanding as ever. HP and Harlee really made their presence felt and harried Parselle & co. Caine, again made a difference when he came on prematurely to cover the Alex Bray injury. All-in-all a real uptick at season's end. Well done everybody.
The only real downside on a sunny Spring afternoon was the injury to Alex Bray who was stretchered off. Hopefully not a break or an ACL rupture. He has been dogged with injury, poor guy.
