    I seem to recall a 5-0 defeat at Bath, one less goal conceded but same GD and probably a worse feeling

    Rambler has hit the nail on the head - a release from the pressure now we’re mathematically safe and some tired bodies contributed to a sound thrashing.  It will be interesting from here on in to see how we perform, and what the management can glean with a view to who they want to retain for next season.  Perhaps that’s a  subject for a separate thread? 
    Anyway, I don’t begrudge them an off day.  We’ve had a monumental cup run and retained our league status with five games to spare - credit where credit’s due, a great effort in an unforgiving league.
