What the hell has happened.
All gone very quiet, and feels like a club with no heart or am I missing something.

That is why it is called the close season!

sn15 on the contraring the club is very much alive during the close season. The Bluesbar is open all through the summer every Friday and Saturday evening. We have the June quiz this coming Friday 12/6/15, followed by Bingo on Saturday the 27/6/15. There is on-going general maintenance work to the ground throughout the summer. I shall be there myself this evening (actually most evening's due to the amount of work that needs doing - weeding currently) from 6pm, so if you fancy a shift for a couple of hours, your help would be much appreciated. The same invite goes to anyone who fancies helping the club to get everything ready for the new season. Come on you Blues

Fair play to you and all the volunteers at the club but I have trouble with work/family etc to keep my own garden under control let alone others 🌿

In truth I believe that this comment relates to the reduced imformation compared with what we used to get in the past via the original club website and then the beak. I know to my cost how unwise it is to suggest that news flowing from the main club site could be better so I will make no comment!

Not wishing to put words in Bluebird2006`s mouth and only speaking from my experience I assume it is about being brought to task by individuals when giving criticism to the lack of information coming directly from the club.
It does still appear to be the case that we only really get to know about players departures and arrivals from the Gazette & Herald. Case in point both Osman and Coupe leaving both of which are not on the website.
Its the usual gripe and until the club realise that there is a active audience on the web and that should be used as a communication tool giving details of events to the fans when they happen then they will continue to receive criticism.
Now watch me receive the abuse.....bring it on

Hmm, not too sure if the audience on the web is "active." According to the User List the forum has 205 members, and the most active is "George" with 333 posts..............in just over 3 years. About 2 posts per week!
Also, 144 members have posted less than 10 times; and according to the forum stats a total of 954 topics has resulted in 4,148 replies; about 4 per topic. Not exactly "active" is it?
Yes, I know, this post is a bit sad! I'm at a bit of a loose end in the close season!

Really? That is sad. I thought I'd managed to wean myself off it! It's 4 years since I left Chippenham. I still have an interest, that much is obvious.
