Back at home today after 3 very difficult away fixtures.Where we where totally outclassed at Poole. We out played and should have beaten Weymouth by more than the late goal. Played well against a good in form Truro side and deserved at least a point, finishing off chances created again costing us a result. Let's hope the new guy Jack can get us the goals we've been missing all season. Good luck to Mark,Tom and the boys lets get into them right from the kick off and get the result we need.

I thought that was an excellent performance. First half was difficult in terms of kicking up and against the wind, but we were still the better team. Second half we dominated them all over the pitch, and Kent had his quietest game for some time. Shame we only managed the one goal. Now we've got very few injuries and most players available maybe it's no surprise we're on a decent run since the turn of the year, Today's bench was Odam, Osman, Harvey, Philips and Francis. Not in the squad were Macormack, Roberts and Edwards. Strength in depth and on course to get the best points total for a number of years.

Agree with that Inside Left, strong bench. Roberts appears injury prone which is a shame as he looked good at Weymouth. Holgate looking a good signing and Odam looks to have pace which is always a bonus. Roll on Tuesday.

We will need strength in depth as another two needless bookings, again Guthrie, petulance, when will he learn. Fergie an unnecessary yellow for berating the ref when a decision did not go his way. However a good win and opposition did not test Kent at all. Good first half playing up slope against wind. Feel sorry for Toby, gets a run of two games plays well and then sits on the bench again. Roll on Tuesday night.

Agreed a gritty win that we thoroughly deserved though I was worried when we didnt get the second goal - I'd forgotten they stuffed us 0-5 earlier in the season and they certainly did not look like being capable of that.
Everyone in the seated stand saw the elbow into Fergie's face as he went past the defender but not the ref or assistant. I don't blame him for abusing the ref as there was clear intent and he got a yellow for dissent with no free-kick for us or card for the opponent.
Didnt really see what went on with Gurthrie but he appeared to be telling the ref that the opponent had kicked out at him. Their no 7 was going in late on Guthrie several times in the first half and went unpunished so there was always going to be trouble.
I'm liking Holgate more and more and if he can get a partnership going with the newbie, Odam that bodes welll.

Well deserved win and Dunstable outplayed in every part of the field. Easiest game Kent must have had fro a long time.3 points won but find it a bit of a concern when we had so much of the play but could only manage one goal. When we didn't have one fit forward on the books you could understand the problems re scoring goals but I can't understand why yesterday we had one out and out striker on the pitch but 3 sat on the bench. Time after time yesterday some good crosses being put over but it was 2 forwards against 4 or 5 defenders. Need more attacking players on the pitch if any hope of scoring more goals.

I know conditions werent the best but i thought our passing inthe first half was not the best.Much better in the second half especially when bally ran at the defence.Dunstables goalie had a game to forget. Why when the game was safe why not give the bench a run out.Can see at least three getting fed up not getting much game time.No difference between Smith,Harvey Francis,Pook and Osman.Surely the team could be mixed abit to keep everyone happy, also at home could we not play with two up front, dont think Holgate and Ferguson are the best pairing.

Holgate and Ferguson ! Maybe thats why we have signed Odam, as for attacking players on the pitch,we had a very attacking line up v Stourbridge last year and we know what happened then. Ferguson Holgate Guthrie Ballinger and Roberts who played against Truro and Weymouth. Rather win one nil than five four....

Agree with all the above posts, and delighted that everyone was so positive about our performance on Saturday. Holgate looked the best I've seen him so far in the second half, and linked up well with Bally and Guthrie. Thought the officials were awful again, and yes I had a clear view of their guy elbowing Fergie as well. My concern is how come the match officials miss such incidents when us supporting spot it immediately. Why oh why can't to ref and his two assistants work as a team. I understand the officials were being accessed at the game. Would loved to have been a fly on the wall when the accessor gave his feedback on their performances.
