Lost 1_nil. Stupid penalty given away by Tindle
Kaupenan sent off after miscontollinhg the ball and bringing forward down.
Chipps mistakes cost us dear this afternoon and we never looked like scoring

Completely disagree. Thought we were the better team by far. Apart from the penalty they had few chances on target - we had plenty. No argument with penalty and harsh but fair that Kent had to go. However these were two decisions the ref got right - he was awful. Their no 14 should have had an early bath before Kent after an attempted headbutt on Beeden and then kicking him on the floor. Lino waving frantically but ref did not even consult him just gave yellow to both. St Neots doing sly shoves in the back all the game which ref ignored and it was obvious it would end in handbags eventually. Shame he wasn't assessed because he'd be dropping a level. New bloke Ash looked useful and came close to debut glory a couple of times.

Another Tindle abberation, lost control of ball and trying to clear took their forward out. Before Kent was sent off, the through ball that led to that tackle by Kent, their player was a good 3 yards off side, so if linesman had been up with play it would have been off side and the incident would not have taken place. The referee was woeful and one of the worst I have seen this season. New man Ashan looked keen, and unlucky not to score.

Not much festive cheer yesterday. I thought it was a terrible game played by two teams who couldn't control or pass the ball. We might have had one or two chances but how many saves did their keeper have to make?? How St Neots where they are in the league is beyond me one of the worst sides I've seen this season. One of those games we didn't deserve to lose simply because the other side didn't deserve to win.
And two words describe the officials absolutely awful and hopefully we don't have to suffer them again this season.

Yes agree, not a good game but not a lot of lady luck going our way. Officials shocking,Kent had to go but player 5 yds offside prior to incident.Pitch not good for passing the ball. I was under the impression St Neots have big big pay roll, i wonder what the difference was man on man.Holgate looks good signing and maybe Phillips has found his new position.

Shouldn't have got rid of rob (well paying him would have been good) a couple of seasons ago. Reap what you sow literally!!

Frustration is the word. Frustration that we had key players missing - we badly missed the width of Guthrie (suspended?) and Bally (off playing netball or something?), Macormack and Coupe. Frustration that we didn't have the nous to create real chances and test their veteran keeper (legendary figure that he is, we didn't test him once). Frustration that MC and TJ haven't had the chance to pick our strongest 11 once this season. Frustration at the totally inept officials. Get the picture?
Positive display from Holgate, could be a real handful.
As for the pitch, I don't think it's much different to past years at this stage of the season, and considering it takes a battering from three teams these days the guys looking after it should be applauded.

Bit surprised to see Bryan Smith playing full back, surely Osman would have been the ideal replacement with Smith replacing Harvey. Anyone know why Campbell wasn't selected Saturday, thought our lack of width would have been a good opportunity.
