Our friends up the A350 beat Shepton Mallett 3-2 this afternoon to go through to the 4th Round of the Vase. And what about the attendance, a magnificent 402! Together with prize money of £1500, it's being quite a day for Melksham!
Congratulations lads!

Hold on a minute how is saying how a local manager doing well makes me a sad...
Please explain what a real supporter means? In your case behind those rose tinted glasses of yours I'm sure one of those who agrees with everything the club does and God forbid anyone who threatens to upset the back slapping brigade.
Also what has darren ever done to you?

Cooky, saying a local manager doing well does not make you a sad *******, but your long running collection of sarcastic, negative and mostly insulting posts to both players and staff does. It's clear to most that come onto this forum that your main objective is to wind people up and rubbish the club at every opportunity. A "real supporter" is one that actually "supports" club and does not rubbish them at every opportunity. I haven't got a pair of rose tinted glasses and certainly I am not one of the back slapping brigade. I certainly don't agree with everything the club does but prefer to offer constructive critisism. I prefer to talk to directors, management and players and not resort to posting offensive and insulting personal remarks on this forum. What has Darren done to me, well he is actually a friend of mine who I often bump into and have a natter about both Melksham and Chippenham's fortunes. I enjoyed his time as manager, as I knew him long before his appointment. He would always find time to talk to us both pre and post match. However his time has come and gone and to suggest bringing back an ex manager when the current managers are steering the club in the right direction is an insult to them.

1. That's one hell of a bite
2. Right direction - I'll ask you that again in a couple of years
