Welcome Frome Boy. To be honest Omar was never really given an extended run in the 1st Team, despite the injuries to other key strikers, so we never really saw the best of him I feel. The manager seemed to want to use him as an 'impact-sub', where he would come on with minutes to go and invariably score a quick winner. He's extremely quick, but often so quick the ball gets left behind, and perhaps a little light for this level. I'm sure most viewers on our forum are sorry to see Omar move on, because he is a very nice guy. Unfortunately some nice guys are not suited for this level, and I feel at this point Omar comes within that category. Must admit I would have liked to have seen Lewis at our place, but the manager has a tight budget, and has to move players on before bringing someone in.
