Re: v reddicth

At least we only let in two.1st goal down to our goalie,up until then we looked the better side.2nd half even with subs on we created little.Redditch looked quicker to the ball than us and seemed to run on to the ball creating space to threaten our goal, where we played the ball around the penalty area trying to create space giving them time to re-group.Crowd less than200.Would like to see others given a chance,if only to find out what is our best team.Normally come home feeling positive even if we have lost, but to-night i feel that the early season promise doesnt seemed to be there.May-be our away form is better than our home form at the moment.

Re: v reddicth

And you all laughed at my pevious thread. Even in the early run we beat nobody in front of us, and it's gone tits up since. - I think we'll do better than last year for sure, but the stats don't lie. We can't score.

Re: v reddicth

Redditch were first to the ball every time, they were a good team going forward, whereas Chip, just played pretty football, and with little result.  We got to within shooting distance easily enough and then tried to walk the ball into the net, they seem frightened to shoot, or will not take the responsibility.  The diamond shape is not working, if we do not take our chances.  The attendances reflect the state of the football, give some other players a chance, start with Omar up front, or draft in some Park players.

Re: v reddicth

Our back four looked uncomfortable whenever Redditch ran at us and Kent having a poor kicking game couldn't help their confidence. Inthebox is right about the diamond, it isn't working as teams simply swarm onto the base of it preventing the ball getting forward.
Collier certainly wasn't happy last night, he kept them in the dressing room so long their chips got cold and as for bringing in some Park players, that's not going to happen.

Re: v reddicth

Not wishing to cast further doom and gloom following last night's less than impressive performance, but next Tuesday (28/10/14) when we are home to Dorchester Town, is the 12 month anniversary when Stourbridge dicked us 9-0 at home !!! Still have flashbacks to that game and the aftermath when the manager Steve Winter was sacked while on holiday. Not sure what other posters think but have we progressed since Mark Collier and Tom Jones have been on board ? Would welcome everyone's thoughts.
