Gibbs is injury prone and Monreal isnt that good so why not and Arsenal have a history of signing young players, Chambers being the most recent example and he's doing ok.

I'm sure its been posted on here before that we didn't get a transfer fee for Tyrone because he wasn't on a contract. The newspaper article says that he cost Ipswich £10,000 when he signed from us. Was it the case then that the £10,000 we received was a development fee because of Tyrone's age? (I'd hate to think that he was on a contract and there was no sell-on clause).

Our previous manager, and I use that term loosely, didn't deem Tyrone good enough to be on contract.
