Next season's Southern Premier line up

Promoted teams Cirencester, Paulton, Slough, Dunstable from SL
Relegated teams Dorchester and Histon
And Corby moved to Northern League and replaced by Halesowen

So the rumoured sensible reorganisation whereby west of London teams like Hayes and Yeading were going to be moved from the Ryman has not taken place and we can wave at those teams as we go to Histon twice. They and Cambridge along with Chesham were rumoured to be going to Ryman, whilst Stourbridge thought they were going North but it is in fact Corby. Never mind at least the FA can organise the Premier League!!

Re: Next season's Southern Premier line up

And the full line up is:

Arlesey Town, Banbury United, BiggleswadeTown, Bideford, Burnham, Cambridge City, Chesham United, Chippenham Town, Cirencester Town, Dorchester Town, Dunstable Town, Frome Town,
Halesowen Town, Histon, Hitchin Town, Hungerford Town, Paulton Rovers, Poole Town, Redditch United, St Neots Town, Slough Town, Stourbridge, Truro City, Weymouth.

So some familiar names return. Those with long memories will recall the infamous, possibly worst of all time, refereeing decision at Halesowen and the day we failed to turn up at Paulton resulting in an embarrasing 3-0 cup failure. Still, let by gones and all that...!  A particular welcome to Slough Town, however.

Re: Next season's Southern Premier line up

I welcome the latter. For reasons that may be obvious to some!! Some decent local ties too... Dorchester was a nice trip I vaguely remember. Paulton was a horrible trip, but nothing against the club. And Halesowen are a decent outfit even if the youngsters are a bit lively at the Grove.
