Currently 1-1.
Apparently half of the floodlights have failed, meaning the game has to be halted temporarily until they are functional again! Hopefully everything is sorted out. This is the type of place where we can grab a nice away win, with one more goal.

Or let another 2 in to lose to the whipping boys who have lost the last 8 games letting in 33 goals in the process

Hehe. We really do seem to be peforming awfully away, so far, this season. It's something which needs to be resolved because we look like a much more tightly-knit unit when we're at home.
Two of our three away wins so far this season appear to have been against a little local team... They're also below us in the league... Perhaps you know which team I'm referring to?

We are the complete opposite, only us and Bashley have failed to win a home league game (Bashley will on the 21st ) but we have won 5 away, so roll on boxing day

4 away games, but 1 very disappointed.
Totton was a must, come away with nothing, bashley coming up,a must win game.
Is it to many new players coming in at once, anyway Hemel up next, god help us.
I think it's lack of quality players that have come in myself

Could it be that given that there are a number of contracted players, the remaining budget doesn't allow for real top quality players coming in and the management team have to take a few gambles to try and spark some wins?

Pretty sure we try not to rely too much on getting players on contracts. There aren't many of them at the club.
Could just be a case of bringing in new names, almost as a trial for each player, to see who is worth keeping on. After all, this isn't a season where we're realistically aiming to be in the race for promotion, and Collier has some time to begin building the foundations of a regular first eleven.

Trouble is that the ones that we do/may have on contract are hard to get rid of. Remember Rudgey offering a lot of contracts last season, think Phillips has one and a couple of others.
Think the comments from Collier in the G&H echo Code's comments. "If you want to stay, lift your standards as currently you're on trial"

Think you'll find there are six or seven on contracts so that must be taking up a big chunk of the budget leaving little room to bring in the top quality sort of player
