Taken from the Weymouth Forum:
Half time 1-1. This really is a team we should be dominating . They have Griffin as a target man who is dangerous at set pieces and a right winger who is quick and nippy, but apart from that, we have little to fear . We have been dangerous at every set piece and the more crosses into the box , the better.

From the Weymouth forum (
A bizarre game of football. Two evenly matched teams for 70 minutes, but Chippenham ran out of steam and capitulated.

If nothing else, the result should help to lower the fans' expectations to a more realistic level. Mark and Tom are definitely the right guys for the job, but this isn't going to be a quick-fix and any thoughts of us simply charging up the league should be forgotten.

Agree with DB. I'm sure the new management team will have learnt a lot about some of our players in a game like that, probably more so than when we've won games. This season is all about building a solid base to go forward. Some of our young players won't be able to perform to the levels required week in week out, some will learn quickly, some will be shipped out again I'm sure, but Messrs Collier & Jones (sounds like a gentleman's outfitters) have the experience and the nous to get it right in the long term. We'll win a few, lose a few, but we'll be fine and can look forward with optimism.
