    Another barmy decision by the Southern League

    The winners of the Southern League South and West are to play the winners of the Central division on May 4th!
    Poole Boss Tom Killick criticised the timing of the extra fixture added to Evo-Stik Southern League Division One South & West champions Poole Town’s campaign, but is determined to gain home advantage for the face-off between the Southern League divisional champions.

    The Dolphins, who have won the Division One South & West title, face the winners of Division One Central which, barring a last-day defeat and an 11-goal swing, will be Buckinghamshire outfit Burnham.

    It is the first season that the two Division One winners will have met, with the match previously contested between the Premier Division champions and League Cup winners - as a pre-season curtain opener.

    To what ends one asks? A jolly at the seaside for League officials.
