Re: End Of Season Presentation Evening

Greg Tindle gets my vote, since his return he has shown a total commitment to the cause.

Re: End Of Season Presentation Evening

Given the season the senior side are having, a presentation evening would have been fairly pointless. The inclusion of the junior sides definitely gives more meaning to the event.

Couldn't agree more. Inclusive is better.

Re: End Of Season Presentation Evening

I agree about Casey. Just because he's no longer here shouldnt obscure his commitment over the best part of the season. Greg's certainly taken over but he's only been back a short while.

Why would Casey win it.  ?

Because inho he had played his socks off and was by far and away our best performer until his untimely departure.

Re: End Of Season Presentation Evening

An international comedian with over 25 years of experience, who has as endless repertoire of jokes, stories and material to suit all tastes. Having travelled the world while serving in the Royal Navy (including the “FALKLANDS in ’82) played semi-professional football and admits to being a golf fanatic ( Captain of Yeovil Golf Club 2003/4), he is obviously well versed in many walks of life able to vary his routine to accommodate most people. His sharp wit & one liners make him one of the country’s finest stand-ups, but he will admit that it is in the After Dinner circuit that he shines, especially at sporting dinners, where he’s worked with George Best Rodney Marsh, Tommy Docherty, Jimmy Greaves: Gareth Chillcott, Ian Botham Sir Geoff Hurst & the list goes on. Having owned his own “Fun Pub” in Tenerife in the 80′s & 90′s, which was voted top entertainment in Tenerife, many people will remember the fun filled evenings of madness that were created for all age groups. This was where the successful partnership of SODZ-OPERA was created and went on to greater things like TV performances with Des O’Connor, Jim Davidson & Michael Barrymore.Suitable for all types of functions, whether it be holiday camps, where he will involve children, to the working mens club circuit, he’ll find the perfect level of comedy to please everyone. His rendition of the William Tell Overture is a showstopper & the audience participation of the Music Man will have the crowd in hysterics, that’s guaranteed.
