What a golden opportunity missed to progress in the fa cup.Again chances missed to wrap the game up and then concede late on, granted it was a cracking strike but he shouldn’t had had the chance.Bray getting injured didn’t help ,but we do make life difficult for ourselves. I think what we need is someone to boss the mid-field and frighten the opposition. At least we are still in the cup, not like Bath who got beat by Weymouth. Makes next Saturdays game interesting, here’s hoping we can keep all eleven on the pitch.

Agree with the above. We really needed that second goal in the 1st half, to reflect our overall control of large portions of the game. Negatives: Ollie Bray going off with what looked like a hamstring problem. Classic symptoms: pulling up suddenly when going for a ball. Positives:- I thought Kevin Williams had a good game and seems to have secured the RB slot. He crosses well , too. Alex Kieh did his chances of a regular place no harm at all, as did Josh Marcon who got better and better as the game progressed. He is combative and quite adventurous. I still think we have midfield problems and physically get a bit bullied both on the ball and off. I think Henry Sady's confidence grows now he is a regular starter. I lost count of the times his marker nudged him in the back just as he received a pass Repeatedly missed by referee and linos who appeared to let quite a lot of shirt-pulling pass as well. We could probably do without the journey to Havant on Tuesday, especially with Saturday's game so important ( for the fans anyway). The extra £2k or 3k for winning would, however, be more than handy... as would the prospect of a lucrative 2nd Q round tie.

Always thought we’d need a second goal, and we certainly had the opportunities. Bray going off was a blow, he looked lively and a physical threat. Presumably he’ll be out for some time if it’s a hamstring. We look very lightweight up front without him. Kieh did very well I thought and Williams had a better second half, particularly defensively, as he got caught out of position a few times in the first half but got away with it - good going forward though.
Haines 4-match ban is not ideal. Hopefully we can get through in the replay and avoid our now customary away day red card.
