I know much has been said about our unfortunate run of injuries to our centre backs but less so about our strikers. Apart from H.P. ‘s brace inside the opening thirty minutes of the season, seven games in and none of our other four strikers have found the net. That’s over 600 minutes!

It’s that cutting edge that we certainly seem to be lacking. We were decent tonight, it just doesn’t happen for us in the final third. Hopefully it clicks soon, we need it to.

Agree. Thought we were more than decent tonight, playing some really posiitive, fluent football and taking control in the second half ( although we did concede). It's our conversion rate that is so poor; so many good, dangerous positions and so few final outcomes. That's the worrying part. Most of the basics are fine... although there are still frailties at the back particularly when hit with speed and directness as we were in the first half an hour or so. Tom Harrison should give us important defensive options for a limited while at least. Should have been at least 1 point from tonight's work. Hopefully we can dent H&R's heady form on Saturday. We have the ammunition but not the aim at present.
