I start to worry for us. Firstly the players who get us through today’s game are incapacitated through various injuries. Grant, King, Holloway etc give us a comfortable afternoon. However it is clear that the levels of clinical finishing and athleticism have risen. The first 20 we tried to win the ball back and it got put into the spaces we left and we were left for dead, should have been 2-0 down. Then we got hold of ball and looked the better side for much of the game. Touray should have made it 1-0 Chippenham before half time.

Second half much the same, deserved the goal and should have been more with being in good areas but getting the final ball wrong. Then the clinical finishing, they must have 4 shots in the last 20 minutes, scored 2 of them. The winner was a goal of the season contender, fantastic strike from distance and nothing anyone could have done.

My worry is that we have performed well (Weston aside) and have lost out in the parts of the match where money matters each time. We don’t look up to it physically v the full timers of which now over half the league is full time. The league could be leaving the club behind although I have some optimism as there is a lot of potential with our players but that needs to turn into results quickly.
