Not a surprise but Nat Williams has departed the club - so he won't be filling the vacant number 5 squad number.

But AAH is retained. Hopefully he can play more than he did last season due to constant injuries

Per Swindon media, looks like Harrison Minturn is on his way back on a short term loan

That sounds great until you read the articles about it and realise that he doesn't actually want to play at our level or for us. He's only doing it because Holloway has told him he needs to. That said, it's good that the Swindon manager is prepared to loan us a player. It's likely we'll need a few during this season.

So Harrison Minturn has indeed returned to us on a one month loan. I would imagine once he is available (not sure about tomorrow) he would be straight into the team. A good deal for us.

Minturn in for a month, always good to get a quality player in, even for a short time.
It is worth remembering that Amadi-Holloway is serving an 8 game FA ban (for a disciplinary) for competitive games , starting from June 2025. Not sure which game that brings him up to.

If AAH is unavailabke, discipinary-wise, until the 20th of Septemeber or thereabouts, then Harrison Minturn's short spell should serve both him, STFC and CTFC very well. I believe he is returning from a lengthy injury... (he only did some warming up during the Friendly) so he gets good game time and we get a good quality player who I rememeber, as having a really positive, attacking mindset always looking to get up the field with the ball and making things happen. Good defensive player, too.
