Went last night and for the first time this season came away from a game annoyed we didn't win. Very little of the usual slow boring build up instead got the ball forward quickly which lead to a number of chances been created. Now all we need to do is take them.
In the first half particularly we were the better side and Weston's keeper was by far the busier. In the second half he saved Weston on a couple occasions with saves from Luke Spokes free kicks. In fact can't remember Will Henry making more than a couple of saves all night.
Last night highlighted the issues we have up front. Harry Parsons battled throughout but on most occasions outnumbered by strong physical defenders. I am sure both he and Matt McClure would love to play alongside a big physical striker. That not being the case (hopefully when A-AH is fit could be persuaded to play up front) as has been commented on here many times play Parsons and McClure together in that way they could support each other.
Disappointing number Chippenham fans there last night given Weston is only a hours drive. From what l saw couldn't have been more than 20 or so. Still l suppose given the way we have been playing not surprising and l expect many couldn't see us winning.
