Pre season fixtures
Pre season friendlies announced, including two good ones against Eastleigh and Southampton U21s.

Christ how many games!!!!??? You've got 46 league games after that mind. I've always thought 6 maximum for clubs our level as we play a lot vert early doors and we are of course part time.

I wouldn't have thought any player will play more than 4 or 5 games max, and even then not full games. You always get triallists and some of the Academy lads involved pre-season. The only one with burnout will be the Kit Manager.

With our 'open trial' I imagine the Highworth game and maybe a few of the earlier friendlies will have more trialists than we usually do so wouldn't worry too much about us overdoing it.

Also states that two of them (Westbury + Larkhall) will see our "B Team" fielded...

Any news on signings, who staying, who’s going. All very quiet.
Trying to flog season tickets but fans last to know anything!!
Chairman stood up in bar after the last game of season, and stated that we need you to come back next season, being a friend tell people about us etc…came across as a bit of a desperate plea.
And here we are again, no club promotion, deals, signings, news etc…

To be fair, I think we’re one of, if not the only, club at this level not to have published a retained list. It’s the norm.

It’s normally you Cooky, welcome back..did you actually go to any games last season? As usual one idiot who just doesn’t get it. Barely over 4 weeks to first preseason game, other clubs social full of news, are you blind.
I think it’s fair question/s we have heard anything, going, staying or signing. Other than those we think are already on a contract.
I think it’s the least we as fans should expect given the club have the time to promote and push the season tickets.

I agree with Wellard, it is awfully quiet on all fronts. Just because he has a different opinion to you there is no need to be offensive. It’s a forum after all, a place for debate.
This forum is NOT associated in anyway to any football club or people that run any clubs in Chippenham.
