Tom Mehew returns- not a surprise he would want to leave Havant after their start to the season. Great to have him back.
On a contract until 2025 as well, a bit weird to see at this level but when he's at his best he is definetly worthy of that.

Very good news. Tom can create space and is unafraid to move into it. Final ball was sometimes iffy, but got better and better as last season wore on,

I suspect it’s not really his decision more todo with the new manager and him not fitting the plans.
Steve King has a history of massive player turnover at the clubs he’s managed and works under large budgets. Hence why he left Dartford and Gloucester who cut their budgets . He has his favourite players, Tom Bonner being one who has already joined H&W.

Good news, I hope he goes straight into the starting line-up.

Agree - we have missed both him and Russe this season.

Really good signing. Driving force in midfield towards the end of last season. Real loss when he departed. Havant are the worst full time outfit I have seen in National League South so not surprised the move there did not work out, especially with a forthright manager like King coming in. He knows who he wants and who he does not want.
With Mehew and Williams, our midfield is looking more positive. Such a difference from three weeks ago. Surely both will start against Eastbourne?

Pleased he is back. Mehew has a bit about him - willing to always get on the ball and drive forward. So different in style to our current midfield set up. Confident he will over time make a difference to the team - with him we may have something about us from midfield. Always thought there was potential there - so good to see he has a long term contract.
