Looks like we can rest easy.....phew
Sounds like it was a tit-4-tat approach, also well done for some communication

surely no-one will know what's happening until the respective 7 days have elapsed?

Well done all.

Read between the lines...Rudge wants him out according to some of the posts above and Griff is stubborn enough to stick his heels in and not move. Those who know me know my views on him as a player, not his biggest fan and actually feel he'd make a better centre half than a centre forward, mainly because he could see the ball coming.
Watch how many headers he wins and how far off the ground he jumps, not far. Yes, he's effective as a battering ram but how many players may have moved on because they find his lack of ball control and movement so difficult to play with. We complain about the long ball we play and why is that, because we've got him to aim at.
Appreciate his strengths and he will be needed for the run in but I'd rather see a bit of pace and guile up front with Phillips. Now there's a footballing brain beatbox ![]()

Wrong - Griffin starts at Arsley!

Cant agree with you regarding Griff, CF. He's the only man up front who tackles and tries to win the ball. Phillips hardly gets of the ground when it comes to jumping and pulls back from putting his head in or his leg come to that. He has the look of someone whose had a couple of serious injuries and refrains from 100% because of it. Positioning is OK, but he'll never go for a 50-50. Its been like that ever since his first game at Calne. Expects others to do the work.

So even Powell doesnt want to return and play for you ![]()

Why swap one relegation battle for another.

As big a fan of Lewis as I am I still couldn't see the point of his return at this time especially as there are injury implications
